Return Policy

1. Scope

This Return Policy applies to orders placed via www.euro-eclipse.com by educational institutions, including schools and school administrations.

The products covered by this policy are certified solar eclipse glasses intended for educational use.

2. Return Period

Solar eclipse glasses may be returned up to, but not including, the date of the solar eclipse.

Return requests submitted on the date of the eclipse or later will not be accepted, as the products are time-specific and event-related.

3. Conditions for Return

To be eligible for a return, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • The return request is submitted before the date of the solar eclipse

  • The products are unused

  • The products are undamaged

  • The products are returned in their original packaging

  • All certification markings remain intact

Products showing signs of use, damage, or alteration are not eligible for return.

4. Return Procedure

To initiate a return, the purchasing institution must:

  1. Contact education@euro-eclipse.com prior to the return deadline

  2. Provide:

    • Order number

    • Name of the institution

    • Reason for return

  3. Await written return confirmation and instructions

Returns sent without prior approval may be refused.

5. Return Shipping

  • Return shipping costs are borne by the purchasing institution unless otherwise agreed in writing

  • Returned items remain the responsibility of the sender until received and inspected

6. Refunds

Following receipt and inspection of the returned products:

  • Approved refunds will be issued via the original payment method or by invoice correction

  • Processing will occur within a reasonable administrative timeframe

Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless required by mandatory law.

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Products returned on or after the date of the solar eclipse

  • Used, damaged, or incomplete items

  • Educational materials (digital or physical), which are provided free of charge

8. Event Dependency

The purchasing institution acknowledges that solar eclipse glasses are event-specific safety equipment intended for use in connection with a fixed astronomical event.

By placing an order, the institution accepts that the right of return is strictly limited to the period before the event.

9. Governing Law

This Return Policy is governed by Danish law, unless mandatory EU public-sector or educational regulations require otherwise.
